Class A Expands Capacity Across Aviation Market
Twelve months ago, Class A entered the aviation insurance market with a clear mission: to redefine how coverage is delivered, underwritten, and experienced. One year later, that momentum continues to build.
Today, Class A is proud to announce expanded underwriting capacity of up to $15 million in Physical Damage and $20 million in Liability coverage per aircraft through an enhanced partnership with its reinsurance partners.
The milestone follows a year of rapid growth for the company, which now operates across 45 U.S. states and has processed and deeply analyzed nearly 7,000 aircraft submissions through its proprietary underwriting platform.
Built around advanced analytics, real-time operational data, and deep aviation expertise, Class A continues to push the industry toward a smarter, safety-first model—one built around real-world operations.
Over the past year, the company also launched its industry-first Virtual Flight Department, giving insureds access to proactive flight risk tools and operational insights designed to help them fly safer and smarter.
“We started Class A Insurance with an unapologetic goal of redefining aviation insurance,” said Mark Haidar, CEO of Class A. “We are ending the era of underwriting with a PDF and a prayer. We are ending the era of outdated safety standards and poor customer experiences. Technology and data have allowed our team to spend less time chasing paperwork and more time supporting our partners and insureds.”
The expanded capacity enables Class A to support larger aircraft, more sophisticated operations, and increasingly complex risks—all while maintaining the company’s disciplined, data-driven underwriting approach.
“Changing an industry is a team sport,” Mark added. “We’re incredibly grateful to our broker partners, reinsurance partners, owners, pilots, and the teams at Class A and Accelerant who continue to help us build what comes next.”
Since launch, Class A has positioned itself at the forefront of aviation insurance innovation—combining aviation-native expertise with technology designed to create safer operations, faster decisions, and a more seamless insurance experience.
And according to the team, this is only the beginning as they continue working Towards Safer Skies.
